Halloween 09'

So Halloween this year was different. I like to believe that it was authentic. Started out the night passing out candy to kids, then went to a party. Hung out with family and friends. I was Padme from Star wars episode II, and my costume ripped by the middle of the night. I still got the best use out of it. It was overall a good halloween.

So its halloween time and what better way to start off the halloween vibe then with a really awesome art show. Located right next to golden apple comics on melrose was a little tiny place packed with fans of popular artist Alex Pardee. It was worth the trip and was an awesome show.

I fell in love with Santa Cruz this summer. I went with some friends and stayed in a little cottage in the mountain area. It was such a intense scene, and it was outcasted from city life. It was a very memorable experience. I want to settle down and live there one day.

Venice in the summer

A great day in venice. For Valley people :)

This was the original Zephyr surf shop!! Everytime i went to venice i always wondered where this place was. This is where skating made its breakthrough with the ZBOYS!

I decided to go to venice a couple of times this summer. So far this was my first time for the year, which is a crime pretty much when you have a car. Being there brought many memories from last year. It was a beautiful day at the beach, and i couldnt have had a better day!

No Doubt Concert!

The NoDoubt concert was amazing. I felt like a little kid again singing thier songs out the top of my lungs. They were just as great to me as before and im glad i got to see them live! The bands that opened up for them i recognized. I have a new love for The sounds. I think the lead singer Maja Ivarsson is my new idol along with Gwen Stefani. Paramore wasnt too bad. It was a good night overall!!

SAKI SAKI BOMB!

My birthday went well, im guessing as all 21st birthdays do. Its crazy finally being 21. A little bit of advice to the youngins, you dont have to get obligerated on your birthday if you dont want to!

Anime Expo

So Anime Expo was fun. I got signed Prints from the artist okazaki, of afro samurai. I got figures as well. Other than that i visited the animation room, the manga cafe, and tried getting to the movie rooms but didnt have time. The costume designs were great. Also the cosplay competition was pretty dope.I had a great 4th of july that day. Didnt make it to comic con this year, but i guess ill have to next year!! :)
